About Us

Sugar Plum Tree has been in business for over 46 years located downstairs of Redeemer Church. We have four individual classrooms that range from 18mos-2.5 years to Pre-Kindergarten. Sugar Plum Tree follows the curriculum that has been developed by Maryellen Waters for 46 years and supplements it with the Early Learning Illinois Standards and the Creative Curriculum.

ACORNS

18mos-2.5 years old

Acorns have a 5:1 ratio and can have a total of 15 children with 3 teachers.

 

SPROUTS

2.5 years old- 3+ years old

Sprouts have an 8:1 ratio and can have total of 16 children with 2 teachers.

DISCOVERY

3-4 years old

Discovery have a 7.5: 1 ratio and can have a total of 15 children to 2 teachers.

KOALAS

4- 5 years old

Koalas have a 10:1 ratio and can have a total of 20 children with 2 teachers.
